Dye Sublimation Printing has been around for approximately 25 years, but it has really taken off in the past several years.
As the name implies, sublimation printing involves turning a solid into a gas, then back to a solid without ever becoming a liquid.
This creates vibrant colors and leaves an image with zero feel. Because of this, it has become a popular (and cheaper) alternative to trophy and award engraving. Sublimation printing can be used on hard surfaces and 100% polyester fabrics, making it great for gift products such as mugs, plaques, and coasters.
